I am Dr. Ramesh Kumar Sharma, an experienced Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon with decades of experience in various reconstructive and aesthetic surgeries . These include body contouring surgeries , facial aesthetic surgeries , genital rejuvenation , hand and maxillofacial trauma, postburn deformities correction and post cancer surgery reconstruction. I have pioneered the craniofacial and cleft surgeries in India. Currently, I serve as the Director of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Paras Hospitals, Panchkula, Haryana. Prior to this, I retired as the Dean of Academic & Research and Head of Plastic Surgery at PGIMER, Chandigarh.

Over the course of my career, I have pioneered numerous surgical techniques and conducted groundbreaking research in areas such as cleft lip and palate surgeries, breast reconstruction, and burn management. My dedication to advancing the field of plastic surgery has earned me prestigious recognitions, including the PGI-Sawhney Teacher of the Year Award (2022) and several orations from esteemed medical institutions.

I have published over 240 peer-reviewed papers and served as an editorial reviewer for leading medical journals. I am also deeply committed to education and innovation, having mentored future surgeons and led initiatives to make advanced reconstructive surgeries more accessible.
